Our Founders
Three brothers. Two companies. One shared love of building.
YOOBIC was founded in 2014 by brothers Fabrice, Gilles and Avi Haïat, but it wasn’t the first company they built together.
Before YOOBIC, they founded Vizelia, an energy management software company that was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2011.
A few years later, they spotted another problem worth solving. Technology was changing the way people worked, but millions of frontline employees weren’t seeing the same benefits.
So they decided to build something about it.
YOOBIC started with a simple ambition: to make work better for frontline teams. Since then, that idea has grown into a global business trusted by hundreds of the world’s leading brands.
More than a decade later, Fabrice, Gilles and Avi are still deeply involved in building YOOBIC. They each bring something different to the business, but share the same entrepreneurial mindset: stay curious, move quickly and always look for a better way.
And there’s still plenty left to build.
Fabrice - CEO
Fabrice leads YOOBIC as CEO, bringing more than two decades of experience across technology, SaaS and strategy.
He started his career at McKinsey & Company before co-founding Vizelia with Gilles and Avi. Following its acquisition by Schneider Electric, Fabrice went on to lead the international growth of Schneider’s energy solutions business before the three brothers came together again to start YOOBIC.
Today, Fabrice leads YOOBIC’s global team and the company’s continued growth.
Outside of work, you’re likely to find him spending time with his family or keeping active. He’s a black belt in karate and also practises Thai boxing — so it’s fair to say he doesn’t sit still for long.
Gilles - CTO
Gilles focuses on the product experience behind YOOBIC bringing together technology, product thinking, UX and design to make powerful software feel simple.
He has spent his career thinking about how people interact with technology and how great design can make complex things intuitive. At YOOBIC, that means creating an experience that works for people in the reality of frontline work: busy environments, limited time and technology that simply needs to work.
Before YOOBIC, Gilles co-founded Vizelia alongside Fabrice and Avi. He holds an engineering degree from École Centrale Paris.
Today, he continues to push the YOOBIC experience forward, always looking for ways to make our technology simpler, smarter and better to use.
Avi - CTO
Avi focuses on the technology and engineering that powers YOOBIC.
Based in Tel Aviv, he has spent more than two decades designing, building and scaling technology platforms, with experience spanning software engineering, machine learning and agile development.
Before YOOBIC, Avi was CTO and co-founder of Vizelia, where he helped build the technology behind the business before its acquisition by Schneider Electric.
Today, Avi leads YOOBIC’s engineering organisation, helping ensure our technology can keep evolving and scaling as our product, customers and ambitions grow.
He holds an engineering degree from École Centrale Paris and has a background in machine learning.
