What we need…
As a BDR Manager at YOOBIC, you will lead a high-potential team of 5–6 Business Development Representatives across New York and London. You will be instrumental in driving top-of-funnel pipeline generation through rigorous execution, strategic thinking, and the adoption of AI and modern sales methodologies.
We’re looking for a natural coach, someone who leads by example, invests deeply in their team’s growth, and creates an environment that’s performance-driven yet supportive. You were a BDR previously and you’ve been trained and mentored by great leaders. You are always learning, whether through books, podcasts, or the broader sales community and you bring best practices, fresh ideas, and energy into everything you do.
What you'll do…
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and inspire a distributed team of 5–6 BDRs across New York and London.
Build a culture of excellence, curiosity, and continuous development.
Unite the team across countries and build an inclusive, competitive, fun environment in spite of location.
Define and manage performance standards and approach for the team, including account selection and outreach approach, AE collaboration, activity targets, call scripts, email approach.
Actively review calls and outreach examples and provide coaching for how to optimize.
Deliver regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, performance reviews, and mentorship plans tailored to individual growth paths.
Motivate and inspire the team through strong vision, consistent recognition, and clear communication of goals and purpose.
AI-Driven Sales Execution
Champion the adoption of AI tools (e.g., generative outreach, intent data, call intelligence, BDR agents) to improve team productivity and outreach personalization.
Equip the team with the latest techniques and workflows to remain ahead of industry standards.
Continually fine tune approach based on results.
Process & Performance Optimization
Own key performance metrics and dashboards; use data to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Report on individual and team results on a daily basis.
Design and refine outbound workflows, cadences, and hand-off processes in tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, 6sense and Sales Navigator.
Instill a process-first, data-driven mindset that balances efficiency, personalization, and scale.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with AEs to ensure quality handoffs and strong pipeline velocity.
Work closely with Marketing and RevOps to align campaigns, messaging, and lead follow-up.
Provide feedback loops across teams based on data, customer insights, and performance trends.
Hiring & Onboarding
Partner with People team to recruit top BDR talent and help scale the team as needed.
Own a high-impact onboarding experience to get new hires ramped and performing quickly.
What you have...
1–2 years of experience as a successful BDR or SDR at a growth-stage SaaS company.
At least 1 year managing BDRs, including remote team leadership across geographies.
Experienced in using AI-enabled sales tools (e.g., Artisan, Regie, Cognism, Relevance) to increase outbound effectiveness.
Passionate about coaching and mentoring — you take pride in developing people into their best selves.
Naturally curious and growth-minded — you stay current by reading sales books, listening to thought leaders, and always seeking new ideas to test.
Highly data-driven, with a process-oriented approach to managing team performance and pipeline quality.
Skilled in managing outbound programs using Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator, and related platforms.
Inspiring communicator, team builder, and motivator who leads with empathy, accountability, and vision.
