What we need
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Paris office and our operations across multiple regions, including France, Italy, Spain, and Israel. You’ll need to bring deep knowledge of French employment law and have experience navigating the complexities of Italian, Spanish, and Israeli labor regulations. Your expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organisational development will be key in driving our HR strategy forward.
As a vital link between our HR function and business leaders, you’ll need to be an effective communicator and problem solver who can balance operational needs with the needs of our people. We're looking for someone who’s comfortable working three days a week in our Paris office, and is ready to make a big impact across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and employees on all HR-related matters, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with French employment law and labor regulations. Provide guidance on Italian, Spanish, and Israeli employment law issues as needed.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and regulations across the business.
Talent Management: Drive talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit top talent in France and other European locations. Support the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Compensation and Benefits: Advise on compensation structures, benefits programs, and ensure compliance with local regulations in France and relevant countries.
HR Projects: Lead and support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, employee engagement, and organizational development across France, Italy, Spain, and Israel.
Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Work closely with HR teams and business leaders in Italy, Spain, and Israel to ensure consistent application of HR policies and strategies across all regions.
Required Skills and Experience
Location: Must be based in Paris or within a commutable distance, with a minimum requirement of three days per week in the Paris office.
- Experience:
At least 5 years of HR experience, including hands-on experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist.
Strong knowledge of French employment law is essential.
Experience managing HR operations across Italy, Spain, and Israel is required.
Languages: Fluency in both French and English is essential. Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or Hebrew would be an advantage.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex employment law issues.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Technology: Is familiar with Hibob, Google Suite
